Curriculum - Elementary School
Manners of the Heart® is a character-education
curriculum that teaches manners to children. There
are a total of 36 lessons divided in the categories
of Everyday Courtesies, Communication Skills, and
Table Manners. Lessons include: The Golden Rule,
I’m Sorry, Telephone Manners, Thank You Notes,
Coughing and Sneezing, and Setting the Table. Each
lesson takes approximately 15-30 minutes of classroom
time and includes a corresponding craft or activity.
Our curriculum was designed for kindergarten through
third grade.
Manners of the Heart is a
creative, hands-on program providing instructors
with the tools they need to instill principles
that influence children’s
behavior in all social situations and relationships.
