- Join our Cookie Ladies by baking cookies
in the Manners of the Heart office
- Wrap and package cookies for distribution
- Teach manners lessons to children through
YMCA summer camps
- Teach Manners of the Heart lessons in
a local elementary school
- Cook dinner for children attending our
Manners of the Heart etiquette class
- Motivate high school students through
our Leaders by Example program
- Prepare craft materials for children’s
lessons
- Participate in elementary school assemblies
- Assemble keepsakes for participants in
our programs
- Become a member of Wilbur’s Team
and serve part-time as available
Opportunities outside of Baton Rouge,
Louisiana
- Organize a Manners of the Heart event
for your area. (contact
our office for
a packet on how to do this)
- Teach Manners of the Heart lessons in
your child’s classroom.
- Involve local service organizations (Kiwanis,
Rotary, Junior League, Junior Auxiliary,
PTA, PTO, Parents’ Guild, etc.) in
sponsoring Manners of the Heart programs
for your community. (contact
our office for a packet on how to do
this)
- Introduce Manners of the Heart to administrators
in your local schools. (contact

this)
- Work with a sponsor to distribute books
in your community.
